Poet in Every Port: Linder-inspired Concrete Poetry

Join artist, Hayward Gallery Touring artist, Linder for an introduction to her work, followed by a workshop where participants will use words and images, inspired by Linder’s exhibition, The Return of Linderland, to explore the practice of ‘concrete poetry’.
This event takes place as part of the 75th anniversary of Southbank Centre London. Celebrations are taking part beyond Southbank’s London base across the UK. Leading these celebrations is A Poet in Every Port, a national project celebrating poetry in coastal communities across the UK. On 25 July, Blackpool will be visited by Southbank Centre’s mobile poetry library as part of its tour to 11 coastal towns and cities between May – September 2026. LINDER: THE RETURN OF LINDERLAND is recommended for audiences aged 16 and over. The exhibition includes depictions of nudity and images of a sexual nature.
