Grundy has commissioned a new work by German artist Rosalie Schweiker, to coincide with The Blackpool Art Fair Working with her brother Stefan, she has developed a toy-sized cable car, which ranges from the gallery’s ground floor to the first floor rotunda gallery. For only 10p visitors can operate the cable car and a further 10p will even transport a small object. This is the first pay-on-demand sculpture the brother and sister have produced together.
